Day 2 - Coming Home!!!

We were very lucky and only had to stay in the hospital 24 hours with Logan. I think we were all ready to be home together as a family of four!

Logan's Birthday!!!

On June 20, 2009 we checked into the hospital at 6:00 in the morning ready to meet our newest little one. The morning went by quickly as things progressed and all the family arrived. Before we knew it, Logan James Colburn was born at 1:13 pm. He weighed 6 pounds 10 ounces, was 19 inches long and a perfect little angel!!! We were so happy that he was finally here and was healthy in every way.

We spent the last few weeks before Logan's arrival putting the finishing touches on his room and getting our bags packed for the hospital.

Aunt Jen and Macey came down to spend the night so they would be here with Tyler when we had to leave for the hospital. Here are Macey and Tyler snuggling before going to bed.

The start of summer

May was a pretty quiet month for us. We spent most of our time hanging out around the house and getting things ready for Logan's arrival. We had mother's day dinner at our house with all of Brad's family. As you can see in the pictures, Tyler and Elle had a ball playing together, as they usually do.

Brad had the opportunity to take a client to the BMW Performance Driving School for the day. During the day, everyone was timed on the course and the person with the fastest time got the chance to race against some of the celebrities who were in town for the BMW Celebrity Pro-Am golf tournament. Guess who ended up with the fastest time???? You guessed it! So later that evening we got to hang out with the celebrities and Brad got to race the track again. He ended up losing to Steve Azar (country music singer) in the finals!! I was a nervous wreck watching him race but it was kind of fun being in the middle of everything. Too bad I was so uncomfortable being almost 9 months pregnant! Tyler stayed with Ryan, Jen and Elle while we were gone and once again, they had a great time together. Here they are playing in the tub and then snuggling before we had to go home.

We took Tyler to a Greenville Drive game later in the month. I think he enjoyed people watching and eating nachos and popcorn more than the actual baseball game. We didn't end up staying for the whole game but had a good time anyway.
